Hrada, An Ayurvedic Spa

An ayurvedic day spa for the modern guest, drawn from a lineage of unhurried care.

This is Hrada.

We are not here to change who you are. We are here to give you back the version of yourself that has been waiting quietly beneath the pace and the pressure and the accumulated weight of a life fully lived. That is what Hrada brings to the table:

A state of balance.

A sense of stillness.

A moment for you.

Hands at rest in a leaf-strewn bath, water bright on the skin.

The name

From Hrad, a still, deep pool.

Sanskrit · हृद · a still, deep body of water

Hrada takes its name from the Sanskrit word Hrad. A still, deep body of water. A lake whose surface gives nothing away, but whose depth you feel the moment you stand at its edge. We chose it because it describes the state we are designing for, not the brand itself. Guests arrive full of motion. The work of this place is to offer them something the outside world rarely does. Stillness, with enough depth beneath it to actually rest in.

A ritual room of timber and whitewash; practitioners attend a guest at a carved wooden table.
